Take your passion for rocketry to new heights with the Colorado Space Grant Consortium's Rocketry Challenge!

Participants are tasked with launching a payload of 2.5 lb to 2,500 feet using a mid-power 29mm motor rocketry kit. No prior certification required to join and successfully completing the challenge earns you your L1 rocketry certification.

Teams looking to go above and beyond can pursue optional goals, including redundant apogee deployment, electronic dual deployment, stable launch velocity and angle, and using an "off the shelf" I impulse motor. Teams have the opportunity to present their work at the COSGC Undergraduate Research Symposium.
