8th Annual Children's Book Festival:ÌýNovember 7, 2026, at Boulder Public Library

The 91´«Ã½ÌýSchool of Education and the Boulder Bookstore invite teachers, students, families, librarians, and all who enjoy children’s literature to join us for the 2026 Children's Book Festival.

The CU Children's Book Festival is supported by a grant from the CU Office for Public and Community Engaged Scholarship (PACES)

Friday, November 6: Authors & illustrators visit local schools

  • Authors and illustrators will visit pre-selected schools in Boulder Valley School District, St. Vrain Valley School District, and other surrounding areas.
  • Authors and illustrators will share about their books and creative processes to inspire children's reading and writing.
  • Books will be provided to children and teachers in the partner schools for reading and author signing.
