About our Community Response Team
The Community Response Team is a group of trained CAPS staff who provide targeted support after major campus or community events.Ìý
This support is not therapy. It focuses on short‑term emotional support, practical coping tools and connection to campus resources. Support may take place in spaces where students already live, learn and gather, such as residence halls, classrooms or other campus locations.Ìý
