Application Criteria

Students can apply as incoming freshmen or rising sophomores.

Approximately 40-50 students are chosen each year to beÌýpart of the new Leeds Scholars ProgramÌýcohort.

Application Review & Timeline

The Leeds Scholars Program offers a holistic review process that evaluates academic preparedness, co-curricular involvement and leadership, work experience, community engagement, and diversity. After the initial review, finalists are selected for interviews with current Scholars, program alumni, and staff.

The general timeline for the process is:

  • Application Opens October 1, 2025
  • Application Closes February 1, 2026 (11:59 PM MST)
  • Interview Rounds February 16 - February 28, 2026
    • In-Person Interview Day Saturday, February 28, 2026
