Get certified: Take a Red Cross CPR and first aid course
This summer, Recreation Services and the American Red Cross are hosting training courses and certification in CPR/first aid. Join one of two upcoming sessions, held on Saturdays, June 13 and July 11.Ìý
The Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid course will teach you how to recognize and respond to adult, infant and child victims in various emergency situations. Participants will earn a two-year Red Cross certification in standard first aid; adult, infant and child CPR; automated external defibrillator (AED) use; and recognizing and caring for breathing emergencies.
All participants must be 91´«Ã½ students, faculty, staff or affiliates to register. Rec Center membership is not required.
To request a CPR/first aid training for your department, . Red Cross also offers hybrid courses in CPR/first aid and lifeguard certification.Ìý
