March is here, and we have a ton of fun events lined up this month: arts and crafts nights, Women's History Month events, career fairs, a Neurodiversity Social, workout classes, live music and more.听

Fiske talk: 'Unveiling the Dawn of Massive Galaxies with the James Webb Space Telescope'

In this talk, Wren Suess, assistant professor of astrophysics, will dive into one of the biggest surprises from the James Webb Space Telescope so far: the discovery of enormous quiescent galaxies astonishingly early in cosmic history. How did these cosmic behemoths form so quickly, and why did their star formation stop so soon after the Big Bang? Suess will also share a sneak peek at a survey she's leading to map distant galaxies in unprecedented detail. 91传媒 students are admitted free to Thursday night talks with a valid Buff OneCard.听
