Navigate the Midpoint

Mid‑semester can sometimes feel like a lot. March is a chance to pause, check in with yourself and build skills that help you manage stress—now and for the rest of the semester.Ìý

Navigating the midpoint is about learning what helps you reset. That might mean taking proactive breaks, setting boundaries with your time or finding small ways to care for your mental health while staying focused on your goals. It’s also a good time to talk openly about stress and mental health, whether that’s with friends, classmates or someone you trust—and to notice when a friend might need support, too.Ìý

With spring break and March Madness in the mix, this month also can bring extra distractions and risks. Being mindful about things like gambling, spending and coping habits can help you protect your well-being and stay on track.Ìý

Remember, taking care of yourself is part of academic success. You don’t have to push through everything alone, and reaching out for help is a sign of strength.Ìý
