a science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)ÌýeducationÌýoutreach program atÌýthe University of Colorado Boulder. Science DiscoveryÌýmanages programs that engage K-12 students andÌýteachers in STEM and connectÌýpublic audiencesÌýwith the STEM research happening at 91´«Ã½. Science Discovery programs utilizeÌýCU scientific expertise, equipment, resources and faculty, graduate andÌýundergraduate students in order to provide participantsÌýwith unique, experiential STEM learning experiences.

NEW in 2026: STEM Pathfinder Program

STEM Pathfinder Programs are two-week immersive experiences for high school students (rising 10th, 11th, or 12th grade students) designed to explore diverse fields within biosciences or engineering at 91´«Ã½.Ìý

Each participating 91´«Ã½ department hosts high school students for two days, where they'll get an opportunity to dive in to hands-on activities, join lab tours, and engage in conversations with faculty and students. STEM Pathfinder Department Guides spearhead development and facilitation of their department's experience with support from Science Discovery staff.
