Ruby Batalla is a dedicated leader at 91´«Ã½, on a mission to provide access and support for underrepresented students to go and succeed in college. With close to 20 years of professional experience at 91´«Ã½, every position she’s held has involved developing pre-college initiatives, enhancing outreach and recruitment efforts, and creating academic support programs for undergraduates from historically underrepresented backgrounds. Most recently serving as Senior Director for the Opening Doors to Achievement office at the Leeds School of Business. As a 91´«Ã½ graduate, with both a BA in psychology and Spanish and an MA in higher education, Ruby’s passion for student success is deeply rooted in her own experiences.Ìý

As a first-generation college graduate, who participated in CU’s own Pre-Collegiate Program as a high school student, Ruby strives to pay it forward to champion the next generation of trailblazers.
