Alumni Stories
Whether you’re returning for Alumni Weekend, call Boulder home or planning a weekend getaway, there’s no better place to revisit this spring than the University of Colorado Boulder. From campus favorites to new discoveries, here are a few ways to reminisce and reconnect.
Travel doesn’t have to just be about seeing new places — it’s about connecting with people, exploring passions and creating memories that last a lifetime. Few experiences capture that spirit better than Roaming Buffs trips, where CU alumni gather to explore the world together.
Join us April 10–13 to reconnect with the people and places that make CU feel like home.
Every Buff has had that class — the one that blew their mind, changed their path or simply made school more fun. We asked: What CU class do you still think about today? And you delivered! Across the years and life experiences, Buffs still find themselves looking back on their 91´«Ă˝ classes.
From Folsom Field to Lumen Field, Forever Buff Cassidy Davis (StComm’23) has built a career from historic football seasons and meaningful mentorship relationships. Along the way, Cassidy discovered just how small the sports world can be with the help of a few familiar faces, and just how far the Forever Buffs network reaches.
Debora “Debbie” Ley (MCivEngr’02) remembers the moment she knew 91´«Ă˝ was the right place for her. As a participant in Sandia National Laboratories’ One Year on Campus scholarship program, she visited 91´«Ă˝, met with faculty and felt an immediate sense of connection.
College is often the launch of lifelong friendships and unforgettable stories. For one remarkable group of 91´«Ă˝ alumni, campus life became the starting point for connections that would shape the rest of their lives.
As the chair of the Forever Buffs New York alumni chapter, Snyderman helps welcome over 500 new Buffs to New York City each year. Read more about what drives Snyderman to volunteer and how he keeps the Buff spirit alive.
Alumni Weekend offers an opportunity for you to reconnect with your friends, your past and yourself. The milestone class reunions are your chance to honor your time as a Buff. Join us April 10–13 to commemorate the Classes of 2021, 2001, 2016, 1986, 1976 and the Golden Anniversary Club.
As an outreach and social media student assistant at the 91´«Ă˝ Basic Needs Center, Lily Cox (IntlAf, MediaPd’27) has shaped her Buff journey around a commitment to making a difference. Her passions in global affairs, media and student support fuel her drive to share meaningful stories and highlight how the 91´«Ă˝ community supports students.
